TOMS RIVER, N.J. – NJ Man Charged in Alexis Cohen death, the man accused in the hit-and-run death of Alexis Cohen and man has been charged with drunken driving following a New Jersey shore car accident that killed an American Idol contestant whose angry rejection rant became an Internet sensation. American Idol contestant Alexis Cohen Death and Autopsy was a sad ending. Alexis Cohen autopsy indicated that, she had suffered head trauma and multiple injuries and including to her abdomen and chest.
Man Arrest in Death of ‘American Idol’ Contestant
According to NJ, Daniel Bark has been charged with leaving the scene of Saturday’s accident that killed Cohen, 25, of Allentown, Pa. Superior Court Judge Wendell E. Daniels said today he expects additional charges of aggravated manslaughter, death by auto and eluding to be added to the list. Daniels said those new complaints could be accompanied by a bail of $150,000 in addition to the $35,000 bail that is holding Bark in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.

According to AP, Defense attorney David Glassman says Bark and his family are distraught over the death of former “Idol” singer Alexis Cohen.
Cohen was struck by a vehicle Saturday in the tiny shore town Seaside Heights. The 24-year-old Allentown, Pa., resident is best known for the Internet viral video of her tirade after being rejected by judges during the top-rated Fox show’s seventh season.
