During an attempted burglary late today, Burris was shot. Police say they have their man. Police are also furious that Burris was on the street, reportedly just released on parole in April after 8 years in jail. During a press conference Monday, state officials held up Patrick Tracy Burris’ criminal record.
It spanned 25 pages.
In 1968 the same community was reportedly terrorized by the Gaffney Strangler, Lee Roy Martin, who killed 4 women in 10 days.
