US audience can watch ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ on July 15th

The release of ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ has been moved forward from its previous release date by two days.

Warner Bros. has decided to air the show on July 15, after it had previously been postponed by eight months.

The studio rationalized that opening the sixth instalment of the mega-hit franchise on a Wednesday is like giving it two consecutive debut weekends.

“Every day the kids are out of school in summer is just like an extra Saturday,” E! Online quoted Dan Fellman, Warner Bros.’ head of distribution, as saying. Check out the release dates in your country here. http://harrypotter.warnerbros.co.uk/releasedates/ (ANI)
